We have been guiding for Bonefish in Hawaii since 2002 longer than anyone on the islands. Yes, there are bonefish in Hawaii and BIG ones at that. To catch these elusive gray ghosts requires expert knowledge and perseverance, but the rewards are great. The scenery and being out on virtually uncrowded flats alone is worth the effort. However the payoffs are the average 6-8 lb bonefish with double digit fish very common. These fish make your reel sing like you won't believe. All flats are best fished with a stealthy approach on foot on our hard bottom flats.
